Maulik Patel

Global Director, Operations IT/OT Organization, Dow Inc.

Maulik Patel is Dow Inc.’s Global Director for Digital Operations Information Technology and Operational Technology (IT/OT). His organization is responsible for enabling digital threads across Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Maintenance by providing integrated IT and OT applications, infrastructure, data management, production support including implementation of manufacturing cyber security controls to ensure safe and reliable operations in all world regions.

Over his Dow career, Maulik has demonstrated expertise in various roles such as Director of the Digital Manufacturing Program, Global IT/ERP Implementation Director for Dow, DuPont, Corteva merge and split transaction, Center of Excellence Director, Architecting and Implementing Manufacturing Operations Management capabilities at Sadara – Dow/Saudi Aramco JV, Integration Director for Dow’s ERP implementation globally and Business IT Director for Basic Chemicals ($5B) business portfolio.

Before joining Dow, Maulik held various technical and client-facing roles ranging from plant floor automation engineer developing solutions to IT manager responsible for managing IT resources, applications, data center operations, and IT project management for MA&D for large General Motors’ car and its component assembly manufacturing sites.

Maulik has a Bachelor’s, and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Tech. Maulik holds a foundation certification in ITIL Service Management and is an SAP-certified Solution Architect. He is an FAA-licensed private pilot.
