Blake Moret
Blake Moret is Chairman and CEO of Rockwell Automation, the world’s largest company dedicated to industrial automation and digital transformation. Rockwell is headquartered in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and brings the Connected Enterprise to life through more than 26,000 employees around the world. Under Blake’s leadership, Rockwell combines deep industry expertise and technology to help our customers and their people be more resilient, agile, and sustainable.
Blake started his career at Rockwell as an engineering intern in their Missile Systems Division and joined Rockwell’s Allen-Bradley subsidiary after graduating from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Blake has built his career with the company and has held leadership positions across multiple businesses and functions, including international assignments in Europe and Canada. Blake became CEO on July 1, 2016, and was elected Chairman of the Board effective January 1, 2018. He is passionate about workforce development and considers the creation of the Academy of Advanced Manufacturing for U.S. veterans returning to civilian life to be one of the highlights of his career.
Blake is the chair of the National Association of Manufacturers. He is also a board member and chairman of the Health and Retirement Committee of the Business Roundtable.
Blake is originally from Atlanta, Georgia and resides in Milwaukee Wisconsin
