George Young, Ph.D.

George Young has been advising leaders across industrial sectors for over 30 years on innovation and digital transformation. He is an expert in process and technology strategy and implementation across the value chain—from product lifecycle management to manufacturing execution and supply chain management. With deep expertise in enterprise software and data science, and an emphasis on industrial cybersecurity, he helps companies secure and scale resilient operations. Young is the founder and former CEO of Kalypso and now leads Rockwell Automation’s efforts to help more companies enable secure digital operations.

George received his MBA from Rice University, his Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from The Ohio State University and holds four U.S. patents.
