Jeff Wilhelmy

Jeff Wilhelmy is the first Chief Digital Transformation Officer for Sylvamo. In this role he created the vision, strategy, and strategic plan for Digital Transformation at Sylvamo focusing in the areas of Manufacturing and Supply Chain. He is leading the execution of the plan to begin the realization of the vision and associated benefits for the company.

Previously, he served as the Global Business IT Director at Sylvamo where he was responsible for the overall leadership of the three regional business IT organizations in North America, South America, and Europe. This included Mill IT operations in eight production facilities, regional and corporate staff group support, and IT program and project management. In this role, Jeff was accountable for driving strategic alignment between the business and IT and ensuring the IT needs of the business and supporting staff groups were delivered.

Prior to Sylvamo, Jeff held senior IT leadership positions in Application Services, Technical Services and Business Information Management with International Paper. Before joining International Paper Jeff worked for Gibson Greeting Cards and Integrated Research Associates where he held a variety of business and IT leadership roles.

Jeff has been an active member of the Memphis chapter of the Society of Information Management since 2011. He served on the board of directors since 2017, was board vice president in 2020, and was board president from 2021 to 2024. Jeff has a degree from Bowling Green State University in Economics with concentrations in Management Information Systems and Psychology.
