Laura Harshberger
For almost 20 years, Laura has worked in information technology roles of increasing responsibility related to business analysis, enterprise applications, project management, strategy, acquisition integration, and driving process change. Most of Laura’s career has been working in IT for the manufacturing industry, including Alcoa, consulting for several manufacturers, and at PPG Industries for the past 14 years. She focuses on customers, driving results, building a diverse team, and setting direction. Laura has managed or implemented systems in the entire manufacturing value chain, including enterprise resource planning, inventory management, customer service, manufacturing execution, quality management, demand planning, product stewardship, labeling, customer relationship management, business intelligence, capital portfolio management, and financial planning & analysis. In addition, Laura is a diversity, equity, and inclusion ambassador for IT at PPG and leads the global IT internship program. She is passionate about women’s leadership in business and developing early talent. Laura holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Carnegie Mellon University and a master’s in business administration from Robert Morris University. She resides in Pittsburgh, PA with her husband and daughter.
