Prabhakar Thanikasalam

Prabhakar “Prabha” Thanikasalam is the senior director of advanced analytics and supply chain solutions at Flex, the manufacturing partner of choice that helps a diverse customer base design and build products to improve the world.

Prabha has over 18 years of experience in data, optimization, and analytics. His expertise is in supply chain analytics, where he’s held positions across many vertical markets including automotive, food, electronics, consumer goods, and clean energy.

Prabhakar has been with Flex for 16 years. In his current position, he leads a global team of data scientists, data analysts, software developers, and supply chain analysts. He is responsible for setting the vision of the data and analytics needs of the supply chain organization, as well as the execution. He is a recognized leader at Flex in data science and advanced analytics initiatives.

Prabhakar holds a Master of Science in industrial engineering and operations research from Virginia Tech and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from College of Engineering Guindy in Chennai, India.
