For Ravi Medandravu, every technology initiative ultimately comes back to one goal: Getting safe, high-quality medicines to patients more reliably and efficiently than ever before.
As Associate Vice President of Manufacturing and Quality Technology at Eli Lilly and Company, Ravi leads a broad technology mandate spanning Quality, Technical Services & Manufacturing Science (TSMS), Data Analytics, and Artificial Intelligence. His work sits at the intersection of two of the industry’s most consequential forces with the urgency to deliver medicines faster and more reliably to patients, and the once-in-a-generation opportunity presented by AI, Industry 4.0, and intelligent automation.
Ravi brings 22+ years of experience navigating the complexity of global pharmaceutical manufacturing from large-scale technology deployments and Digital Tech Transfers to IT/OT integration and regulatory compliance. His career includes senior leadership roles at Roche Genentech, Sanofi, and Biogen, giving him a cross-industry perspective on what it takes to move the needle at scale.
At Lilly, he is advancing a bold agenda in modernizing manufacturing and quality through next-generation technologies with advanced analytics and AI, building the operational agility needed in an era of increasing therapeutic complexity, and embedding data-driven decision-making into the fabric of how medicines are made.
