Simon Floyd is Microsoft’s General Manager for Manufacturing & Mobility Industries in the Americas, leading a team that drives innovation, intelligent factories, enhanced customer experiences, and resilient supply chains with digital solutions. He has 34 years of expertise in product design, manufacturing solutions, and smart products, and held key leadership roles at Google Cloud, Cadence Design Systems, and Actify.
Beginning his career in Australia, Simon worked with prominent companies like Ford Australia and James Hardie Industries. He holds a degree in Industrial Design from Monash University and holds patents in solar power generation, architectural products, and lifecycle management software. Throughout his career, Simon has been dedicated to helping businesses achieve success through digital technologies.
