Steve Urquhart
Steve Urquhart is a Talent Development and Quality Transformation leader within Lockheed Martin’s RMS Quality organization, where he drives enterprise initiatives that strengthen workforce capability, accelerate engineer proficiency, and align Quality talent development with strategic business outcomes. He is the architect behind RMS’s Operations Experts learning ecosystem, role-based onboarding and upskilling sprints, and modernization of how Quality Engineers learn, perform, and grow in the flow of work in an increasingly complex environment.
Steve brings more than fifteen years of cross-functional leadership and consulting experience shaped by impactful roles at Siemens AG, where he supported global engineering and talent initiatives, Enterprise Florida and Workforce Florida, where he worked on policy and public-private partnerships, and through his service as a paratrooper and intelligence specialist in the United States Army, where he learned the mission focus that continues to guide his work today.
According to Steve, he’s in the People R&D Business, focusing on readiness and development of talent and organizations to achieve more than they thought possible, and tackling “What’s Next.”
