Ethan Ott

As Director of Manufacturing Strategy and Planning for Whirlpool Corporation, Ethan Ott drives sustainable competitive advantage by designing high-efficiency production processes and factory layouts that maximize safety, quality, and cost performance. He steers strategic decision-making through rigorous cost-benefit analyses, CapEx and expense planning, and long-term verticalization strategies. In addition, Ott leads operational excellence and World-Class Manufacturing (WCM) across North America to continuously elevate manufacturing performance. 

Over his 13-year career at Whirlpool, Ott has held cross-functional leadership roles spanning engineering, quality control, operations, and digital transformation. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from The Ohio State University and an MBA from Ohio University.
