Dan Dwight

Dan Dwight has extensive executive global leadership experience in business development, manufacturing and operations, technology commercialization and private equity investing in a diversity of industrial businesses. Having successfully operated in a variety of challenging operational and financial environments, he is a high-integrity leader recognized for building collaborative teams that streamline businesses to increase shareholder and customer value and profitability.

Dan was appointed President, CEO and Director of Cooley Group in March 2011. He has successfully repositioned the 100-year-old company around the three pillars of Sustainable Growth (Economic Prosperity, Environmental Stewardship and Social Responsibility) while improving the health and well-being, and engagement of the Cooley Team. Under his leadership the business has experienced a ten-fold increase in profit on three times more revenue.

Previously, he was a Partner and Cleantech & Renewable Energy Segment Leader for Tatum, President and CEO of Kronos Advanced Technologies, and a 17-year executive with GE in the Americas, Asia and Europe. Dan is also a Director of Family Service of Rhode Island and Kenney Manufacturing. He holds a BS from The University of Vermont and an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
