Steven Moskowitz, Ph.D.
Steven Moskowitz, Ph.D., is the Senior Director, Event Content at the Manufacturing Leadership Council.
He is a thought leader in innovation management and digital transformation and the Principal at Industry 4ward LLC, an advisory firm that works with manufacturers to help them identify, prioritize, and embark on the next steps in their digital transformation and sustainability journeys. He leverages the Smart Industry Readiness Index (SIRI) assessment model which a data-driven model that incorporates Industry 4.0 maturity, industry competitiveness, KPIs, cost profile, and time horizon to identify areas of focus.
After earning a B.S. in chemistry from the University of Rochester and a Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of Washington, he went to work at IBM’s Microelectronics Division where he remained for over 12 years. At IBM he held a variety of roles across the technical and managerial spectrum. Following his time at IBM, Steven joined Entegris where he stayed for nine years, holding two key roles as innovation management thought leader and Director of Digital Transformation.
Steven is a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and Certified SIRI Assessor with extensive experience at leading technical, business process, and organizational development projects.
In addition to several years of association with the Manufacturing Leadership Council, he has many years of involvement with the Innovation Research Interchange (IRI), a divisions of the National Association of Manufacturers. He sat on the IRI Board of Directors and served as the Chair of the IRI Board.
A Massachusetts resident, Steven enjoys hiking, biking, local music, good food, and rooting against Boston sports teams (as is expected from a born and bred New Yorker).
