John Coykendall

John is a vice chair, Deloitte LLP, and the leader of the US Industrial Products & Construction practice. John has more than 26 years of consulting experience focusing on global companies with highly-engineered products in the Aerospace & Defense (A&D), Industrial Products and Automotive industries.  In his role, he is responsible for Deloitte’s services to companies that design, develop and manufacture aerospace and defense products, including airplanes, ships, ground vehicles, satellites, launch vehicles and other related products and services.  He also steers the global network of Deloitte resources and capabilities which support Deloitte’s global A&D clients.

John advises senior executives on driving impactful and sustained performance improvement, through both top-line growth and margin improvement initiatives. He has led large-scale transformation efforts to help businesses with strategic cost transformation and operations/supply chain initiatives.  He has deep experience with helping commercial aerospace and defense companies align their cost structure with the business model they are trying to serve.  He also serves as the Lead Client Service Partner (LCSP) for multiple Deloitte clients with global responsibility for those relationships.
