Heather Vance

Heather is a well-versed consultant in the BI space. While maintaining a consulting role, she has been able to successfully utilize her technical development skills, as well as her business analytics, to develop and support the needs of clients. This has been accomplished by developing and supporting various data warehouses and Power BI reports. Heather’s responsibilities include project management, Power BI report creation, requirements gathering, software and module development, business process reviews, documentation, and recommendations, as well as end user training. Additionally, Heather can help serve in a project support analyst role, where she is responsible for issue identification, troubleshooting, remediation and resolution. Her strength lies in her ability to be able to take on different types of projects, from development of a data warehouse and Power BI visuals to conducting training for end users.

Heather maintains a strong familiarity with health care analytics, higher education analytics, manufacturing analytics, and analytics in the credit union space. During her time in the BI realm, she has helped support and been the lead analyst on different projects in these areas.

Functional and technical skills include X++, SQL and SQL Management Studio, SSIS Data Tools, R, Power BI, DAX, and Tableau.
