Meet Trent Hensel, the Maintenance & Tooling Manager at Whirlpool Corporation’s Marion Manufacturing Operations. Trent leads over 150 skilled tradesmen and manages a staggering 1,400 assets, ensuring the seamless operation of Whirlpool’s manufacturing efforts. What makes Trent’s perspective unique is his comprehensive background: he joined Whirlpool in 2017 via their Manufacturing Leadership Development Program, rotating through four different U.S. manufacturing sites and immersing himself in everything from Engineering and Quality to Materials and Operations before finding his niche in Maintenance. Trent holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toledo, and is speaking as a panelist at this event to share insights on how his experiences have shaped him into a Next-Generation leadership finalist.
